We lay down our lives
For the rich and the greedy
For those who proclaim
Make America Great Again

It’s not lost on me
The men who scream
Pull yourself up by your bootstraps
While they slap
Laws
Down on this nation
One built for those
Who use condemnation
To pass judgement
Without any self reflection

It’s not lost on me
That those who sit in their chambers
Using the power
Of their election
To fili-
Bust
That which doesn’t fill their pockets

Open you wallets
Put your money where your mouth is
You want me in your corner
Shut your mouth
And be a good donor

Not to the organizations
Or populations
That deserve
Reparations
For the historical treatment
That continues today

Blood on thy hands
From the streets
To the ten thousand dollar
Meet and greets

Our country
Land of the free
Only for those
Privileged enough to be

Unfortunately
The rest are casualties
To the greed
And washed up
Trustees
We see on Wall Street
